Petrová, Markéta ; Pospíšil, Zdeněk (referee) ; Boháč, Ivo (advisor)
Thesis suggests a recovery of Litenčice castle in the Zlín region. In the current state of the castle it's apparent that in the past fifty years it went through rough times during which it has been decaying or has been inappropriately and inconsiderably renovated. My concept of revitalization is based on a humble approach to the current state and the effort to restore the dignity of this sumptuous mansion. Great emphasis was also put on the eventual execution of the project which is why I changed some of the aspects in order to meet with the owner's vision. Due to high costs of repairs and insurance of continuity of revitalization I was seeking to make opportunities for economic returnability. My aim was to create a complex in which it is possible to spend the weekend with whole family. Renovating the stables makes for an attraction for children just as much as it gives the opportunity travel nearby surroundings by horses. Furthermore, it will be possible to participate in workshops as to reduce the costs of partial repairs notably. As the owner of the castle currently offers the sale of hunting tickets I decided to renovate the premises of the main castle to function as accommodation for these clients. In the event that the above-mentioned objectives were successful it is convenient to think about the consequences. Maintenance of a large object naturally caries the burden of high costs which can be partially eliminated by workshopping, which will be supported by an ecocentre which is placed nearby the stables.

Valešová, Irena
This bachelor's thesis deals with the analysis of the use of venison by hunting grounds users and the related consumption of venison among the public. A questionnaire survey was used to solve the aim of the work. Two different questionnaires were created for hunting grounds users and for the public. The analysis took place in 2021-2022 and a total of 290 respondents participated in it (101 users of hunting grounds and 189 consumers). Thanks to the research, it was found that the general public consumed venison most often in the amount of 1.1–10 kg per year, and more venison was consumed by people living in villages. The most frequently consumed game species was wild boar, which was also the most frequently hunted game species. 60-75% of red deer, sika deer and roe deer game were sold for the purchase of venison. 40-50% of wild boar and fallow deer venison was sold to the final consumer. Hunters used 10–20% of roe deer, fallow deer, wild boar and European mouflon venison for their own consumption, while hare and pheasant meat were used for hunter consumption in 70–90% of cases.

Zbořilová, Irena
The aim of the thesis is the application and evaluation of control methods in terms of game damage, analysis of back-calculation and differences in counted numbers and reported hunting on the basis of hunting statistics carried out for the given period in the overhead hunting area of the University enterprise Masaryk Forest in Křtiny. The evaluation of the control and comparison plots together with the forest inventory showed significant damage, which was then confirmed by the results of underestimated counts in several years and ever-increasing hunting plans. Based on the results obtained, a harvest proposal was developed and the use of an operational inventory with a combination of control and comparison plots was recommended for long-term monitoring to observe population trends in terms of damage.

Rachůnek, Karel
This work deals with the analysis and evaluation of the usability of simple indicators of grazing pressure of game on the forest. The territory in the Zlín region was selected for the elaboration of this bachelor's thesis, specifically the hunting of MS Kyčera. The field survey was performed by the patrol method. Data from control and comparison areas (CCA), transects and artificial cultures were used to assess damage. Eight stands were selected for evaluation. Three main tree species in the area were evaluated, namely beech (Fagus sylvatica), Norway spruce (Picea abies) and white fir (Abies alba). Based on the damage by grazing pressure, the number of ungulates in the given area was evaluated.

Robotka, David
This bachelor thesis addresses the issue of the number of issued exemptions and the subsequent potential harvest of Eurasian beaver (Castor fiber) throughout the Czech Republic. The information obtained from the regional authorities of the Department of Environment and Landscape was used for the solution. The study showed that already in the first years after the adoption of the Beaver Management Programme, exemptions with hunting permits were issued, but their utilisation in the form of the number of individuals hunted was not high. However, due to the continued expansion of the species and the associated increased damage, this number has increased over time. The main finding is that since 2013, up to the time of data collection, a total of 72 hunting exemptions and 7 general measures have been issued. A total of 235 Eurasian beaver have been hunted, but most of them in the Pilsen region. Paradoxically, more individuals were shot in Zone B, where shooting is allowed only on issued exceptions, than in Zone C, where shooting is unrestricted throughout.
Postavení myslivosti v rámci současné české společnosti
Žižková, Eliška
This thesis deals with how the general public perceives hunting and hunting activities. Nowadays, more and more citizens are diverting from their relationship to nature and do not realize that hunting and the overall hunting activity positively contributes to maintaining the balance between nature and man. Also, few people admit that hunting is closely linked to nature protection and is not just about hunting. However, hunting is nowadays an important step towards reducing game numbers, especially because of the considerable damage that is usually caused by game to forest stands. In order to address the aim of the thesis, a questionnaire survey method was used, where two types of questionnaire were designed for different groups of respondents. With the help of this research, it was found that people living in the village have a more positive attitude towards nature and hunting than people living in the city. It was also found that the general public has a 70 % positive perception of deer, despite the fact that this species of game causes considerable damage to forest stands. The analysis also revealed that hunters should focus more on awareness-raising activities to make the general public more aware of their activities.
